Hey R Beekman!
Thanks for your question and so here is our answer....Yes all the model years of the F150 Four stroke motors can charge a house battery separate from the standard battery leads. It will require an optional Battery Isolator lead with circuit protection this part can be purchase at any Certified Yamaha Outboard Motor dealer. The lead has a water proof connection that hooks right into the motors wiring harness and then to the house battery the house battery will need to have a common negative connection with the motor batteries. With this setup your motor will charge the house battery whenever the motor is running. Sure hope this answer helps!
Happy New Year and Happy Boating.

I have two Yamahas, an 8 hp for a little boat, and a 115 hp 4-stroke. Both have been excellent, and my experiences with Cannon's has always been top notch. I highly recomend to anyone looking for a new boat or to re-power should consider speaking to the staff at Cannon's for uncompromising quality and service.
