Employee Spotlight: Joseph Dinicola

Title: Service Technician
We are happy to announce the addition of Joe Dinicola to our staff!  Joe is one of our service technicians and began working with us in November of 2012.  And what exactly does a service technician do?  Well, its their job to inspect, maintain and repair boats of all kinds. Technicians must be skilled at using diagnostic equipment, testing and repairing boat engines, hulls, propellers and navigational equipment. They also install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, electrical systems, steering gear, and accessories.
Joe has always had an interest in boats and began working on them when he was a little boy. Before he graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School, he began working at Sara Bay Marina and after graduation, worked there for eight years before coming to work at Cannons.  Joe is a graduate of Manatee Technical Institute of Marine Mechanics, Evinrude School, and Yamaha Factory School and is Yamaha 5-Star certified.
