The Yamaha Outboard VF150 V MAX SHO was the first of its kind, inspiring the VF175 and VF115. The 480 lbs outboard shares the same 2.8-liter powerhead found on the F200, with all of the same features. It’s not only the fastest but also 10 pounds lighter than two-stroke competitor outboards. Its 7.7-second hole shot bests some competitors by up to 4 seconds. With the option of a 25-inch shaft for all of our I-4 V MAX SHO outboards, anglers have a competitive edge that runs deeper than ever. In addition, the Yamaha Outboard VF150 includes mechanical controls for easy, convenient rigging with most bass, bay and flats boats, and are compatible with analog, 6Y5 digital or Command Link® gauges.
